A great place to stop for lunch or brunch if you’re walking along Regent’s Canal, and a good reason to head over the Haggerston if you’re not.
Arepa & Co offer Venezuelan cuisine that centres around corn bread arepas filled with maize, black beans, fried plantain, shredded beef, avacado, pork and roasted vegetables.
Set just alongside Regent’s Canal it’s a chilled but vibrant space to enjoy some good food and maybe a cheeky cocktail.
There is I read now a second restaurant opened up in Bethnal Green, I’ve yet to visit but it’s on my list of things to do.
